Project: Vassar College

The task was updating basic cylinders originally installed in an expanded section of the Thompson Library at Vassar College in 2001. Ferretti’s Tubo Evo Bi-Color in beautiful black matte and gold leaf finish allowed an integrated, refined, but understated element to the lighting. The range of outputs provided the right amount of light to be delivered in an energy efficient and maintenance free way. Since this was an update to existing lighting and not new construction or a full renovation, we worked with the experts at Moxie Lighting and the facilities team at Vassar to provide a flexible wireless control system integrated into the fixtures.
