Project: Norwell Public Library

The new Norwell Public Library functions as a multi-resource community center for the residents of Norwell, MA. Located adjacent of Norwell High School, the building is strategically planned in its placement and design in response to the surrounding wetland ecosystem. Incorporated into the design is ample natural lighting and thoughtful connections to the surrounding environment. The library aims to be a pleasant and productive space for visitors of all ages.

The Eos system from Lighting Elements helps accent shelves filled with books and periodicals in the two secluded reading rooms of the library. The Eos with rotational arm wall mounting provides a sleek, minimal tubular form factor with a clean and continuous line of light to illuminate the shelves as a modern update on a classical and functional library light. The Eos system can be specified in various run lengths and arm lengths to suit a number of applications.
