Project: Middle School, Connecticut

There is no where to think of that quiet is more sought after than the school library. So when looking for a functional, but also a visually appealing basis of design for this Middle School’s new Media Center were considered, Lighting Element’s Vibe and Concord product families fit the requirement on both counts. Inside the Media Center, the Vibe and Vibe Acoustic fixtures in different sizes were staggered at different heights to help provide general illumination as well as a look that set the space apart from the rest of the building.

Outside the Media Center, the Concord in illuminated and acoustic only versions was used to light the hallways with high ceilings. This fit the requirements of both high lumen output as well as high NRC rating to absorb echoes from making their way down the hallway.
